The ergonomic design of the Smart Cord makes it ideal for environments where computer grade filtering is required but space is limited. The Smart Cord is an electronic power conditioner equipped with “smart ground” technology which eliminates ground loop current in networked systems. The Smart Cord is used as a power protection solution for networked equipment such as POS systems, computers and many other microprocessor based products.

The Venus or SPV Series is the latest evolution in the popular series of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) from Smart Power Systems. The Venus with Transformer-Based Filtering (TBF™) filters common mode noise like an isolation transformer to less than 0.5 volts.

Smart Power Systems’ Venus Series of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) offer high performance, feature-rich protection. The Venus UPS Series helps eliminate the need for multiple power protection units by providing 6 receptacles (4 battery + TBF™, 2 TBF™ only) for all POS System equipment including the terminal, receipt printer, and other POS peripherals. It also includes adaptor cords for products using transformer blocks.
